Zero Energy Design concept dictates that the material used in the construction of any structure should be energy efficient along with the maintenance of that structure. This concept has been employed by Sheher Saaz in designing and building a villa in Dubai. After construction and maintenance, the structure can save 169,274 kWh per year in comparison to non-existent energy-saving previously resulting in 131-ton carbon emissions per year. This not only helped the client in saving his money but also paving a way to achieve sustainable development goals.
