Peshawar City Master Plan 2040. Peshawar city is the provincial capital of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Peshawar is the largest city of KP Province and the sixth-largest city of Pakistan with a population of 1.97 million according to the 2017 census. The purpose of the Peshawar city Master Plan is to determine different alternatives for improvement of the drinking water supply, sanitation/Storm water and solid waste management capabilities /capacities of the existing infrastructure and related institutional setup.
