Project Detail

In many cities in the developing world, public transport infrastructure has not kept up with dramatic urban growth. Car ownership is growing rapidly among wealthier households, increasing congestion and emissions, and potentially leading to patterns of land use that make access difficult for the poor. To address these challenges, more than a hundred cities in the developing world have recently built mass transit systems. Lahore is one of those lucky cities to have a running BRT system. The client intended mapping of environmental and social economic profile along BRT corridor 1 from Gajjumata to Shahdara in Lahore. The environmental factors in any sort of plan are important to consider because they have long term effects on the health of city and citizens
