The main objective of preparing the master plan of a city is to regulate the present and future development of the city and to provide insight regarding the contemporary conditions while giving a detailed proposal recommendation for the future growth and development of the city. This exercise, albeit has not been conducted in the two chiefly valued cities of Attock District namely Fateh Jang as the priorities of the government lie somewhere else while the people are suffering from inadequate infrastructure and services. The two cities lie near the capital city of Islamabad and have the potential to be turned into economically, socially, and environmentally viable cities as Fateh Jang is the home of the new Islamabad airport is significant in terms of CPEC development. Sheher Saaz is assigned with this project to prepare an urban and rural master plan for Fateh Jang.
