Mingora/Saidu Sharif is the capital of Swat District and divisional headquarters of Malakand Division. It is the 3^rd largest city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a population of 396,091 according to the 2017 population census.The purpose of the Mingora/Saidu Sharif city Master Plan is to determine different alternatives for improvement of the drinking water supply, sanitation/Storm water and solid waste management capabilities /capacities of the existing infrastructure and related institutional setup.
